We are thrilled to invite you to join us in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle for a wedding adventure like no other! Guests must book through this website via the "Book Now" tab, and all you need to reserve your room is a $150 deposit. Additionally, please confirm your attendance through the "RSVP" tab. Considering the mandatory 3 night stay, we recommend that you book from Saturday, July 5th - Tuesday, July 8th.
Embrace the spirit of exploration and immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding us. While we will soon provide a list of exciting activities for you to enjoy, we encourage everyone to come prepared for the adventure. Please bring comfortable hiking or walking shoes, light and breathable clothing, and a bathing suit for the refreshing waterfalls and hot springs.

About Us
It all started on a sunny day in 2013 at Chelsea Piers, where fate brought us together. Jay charmed Moni with coffee during her closing shifts, igniting a spark that would grow into something beautiful later.
Our journey took flight at the holiday party in November 2015, and we sealed the deal over "tequila pineapples" at MkKennas in December of the same year. Our first official date at Cafeteria on 17th Street marked the beginning of countless adventures together.
From Puerto Rico escapades after a snowstorm to our first concert at Drake & Future's "Summer 16" tour, our love blossomed, culminating in Jay's heartfelt proposal in Toronto, right before Drake's "It's All A Blur" tour—an unforgettable full-circle moment.
Our love knows no bounds, as we explored California's coast, adventured through many Northeast Mountains, and deepened our bond at Niagara Falls. Moni introduced Jay to spoken word at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, while Jay shared the joys of Sabrosura in the Bronx—a culinary journey we continue to savor together.
Our adventures span the globe—from Aruba to Greece—and include countless dinner dates and thrilling escapades, including kayaking through thunderstorms and propelling down mammoth waterfalls.
Despite nearly two years of long-distance, our love only grew stronger, surviving even a global pandemic. From exploring sun-kissed shores to embracing each other's loved ones, our journey has been an extraordinary tapestry of love, adventure, and connection.

Elena Garay
Maid of Honor
Ely is Monica’s older sister and maid of honor. She is a positive role model for Moni (mostly).
The dynamic duo can usually be found communicating in song, attending a theatre production, practicing accents, enjoying a good meal, sharing outfits and recipes, or having deep philosophical conversation.
Ely is studying to be a Clinical Lab Technologist at the City University of New York and is expected to graduate in May 2025. She is a proud fur Mom to her four-year-old cat, Ray Ray.
Ashlee Rosado
Maid of Honor
Ashlee is Monica’s first ally in life and her Maid of Honor. Many of you know her as her cousin and truly, blood couldn’t make them any closer.
They met at the tender age of three years old and have been creating memories ever since. You can find them seeking adventure, going for long walks accompanied by meaningful conversation, trying something new, breaking out a dance move, or fine dining together.
Ashlee is an occupational therapist who enjoys traveling and working out.
Jaquala Montalvo
Maid of Honor
Coco is Moni’s best friend, soul sister, and maid of honor. They met on the first day of Junior High School, and the rest is history.
You can find them immersing themself in Puerto Rican culture, conferring upon the best coffee or chocolate, exchanging book ideas, catching a workout class, bonchinchando, venting about global injustices, or watching movies (where Moni usually falls asleep).
Coco is a Mental Health Professional and avid runner, in fact she recently completed her first marathon.
Zahraa Saheb
Bridesmaid
Zahra is Moni’s second favorite cancer (only to Jay) and Moni’s bridesmaid.
Z and Moni met in D.C. and have been shattering glass ceilings together for a while now. You can usually find them brainstorming on policy ideas, praying, eating sweet green, or admiring interior design DIY projects.
When Z isn’t installing a home upgrade, picking up a new hobby, or meal prepping, she’s headstrong in Congress advancing comprehensive legislative strategies.
Chyna Melton
Bridesmaid
Chi Chi is Moni’s fidus Achates and bridesmaid. They hit it off in D.C. and quickly became inseparable, bonding over curly hair and just legislation as they are fierce proponents of both.
You can usually find them on each other’s couch, in another country, studying (they are students of life), or on the dance floor.
When Chyna isn’t bodybuilding or tending to Moni’s Golden Retriever nephew, Chief, she’s leading domestic and global government relations.
Monica Sibri
Bridesmaid
Monica is Moni’s twin flame and bridesmaid. Coined “The Monica’s”, they’ve been sisters in advocacy for over a decade.
The Monica’s are usually planning how to dismantle inequitable systems, uplift historically disadvantaged communities, or when they need to wind down- enjoying a good bottle of wine and pasta together.
When Monica isn’t putting green, at Zumba, or cycling, she’s managing several clients and helping to elect diverse candidates.
Brian Allyene
Best Man
Brian is Jay’s best friend and Best Man. They met in High School and have maintained loyalty and brotherhood ever since.
You can catch them exchanging views on business prospects and prosperity or traveling to expand their horizons.
When Brian isn’t creating content, singing, or being the best Dad to his sons (one is a fur baby), he analyzes Business models.
Christopher Torres
Groomsman
Chris is Jay’s favorite cousin (sorry all) and groomsman.
These two are like brothers more than anything. You can usually find them leading the cousin to walk at family gatherings (wink wink), at the trendiest restaurant, or enjoying nature's cure-all.
When Chris isn’t immersing himself in nature's finest, he can be found on his dirt bike or searching for the best food in town.
Wilmer Ibarra
Groomsman
Will is Moni’s brother from another (thanks, Coco!), but he and Jay quickly hit it off and created their own brotherhood. He’s Jay’s favorite Guatemanteco and groomsman.
You can catch these two deliberating over family dynamics, trading stories about their nieces and nephews, contemplating on building generational wealth, and enjoying good food and music.
When Wilmer isn’t enjoying Tennis or providing TLC to Jasmin & their fur baby Doja in their new Nevada home, he is providing top-tier Banking services.
Jose Peña
Groomsman
Jose is Jay’s long-time friend and groomsman.
You can typically find this duo watching a sports game, exchanging comical videos, or just simply kicking it and talking about life.
When Jose isn’t caring for his beautiful wife, Cari and their daughter or collecting valuable sneakers, he is troubleshooting tech issues across the country.
Kevin Walker
Groomsman
Kev is Jay’s good friend and groomsman. Over the last decade, they’ve fostered an unbreakable camaraderie.
These two are usually conferring over life events, supporting each other’s professional development, and breaking bread.
When Kev isn’t enjoying life’s simple pleasures with his son or partner Daria (Moni’s good sis), he’s managing million dollar franchises in New York City.
Kendis Moses
Groomsman
Kendis is Jay’s friend of over a decade and someone he knows he can always rely on no matter what.
They have witnessed each other evolve into the best versions of themselves, and have been a great support to one another when it is needed most. You can find these two vibing out to a good game, good music, good food, and always in good company.
When Kendis isn’t caring for his beloved son or family, he is managing a flagship entertainment center in the heart of New York City.
